Corn on the Cob Cupcakes

Yup, those summery lovelies are actually bites of cake, not corn. I've been meaning to make these ever since I got the book Hello, Cupcake! last year - maybe this is the inspiration I need to finally do it. In case you can't quite decipher all of the ingredients in the photo, the kernels are jelly beans, the pat of butter is a Starburst and the salt and pepper is just colored sanding sugar.
