Getting proper dental care is important for everyone, including lions. Mumbasa, a lion at a Kansas zoo, recently learned this the hard way. The lion chipped his tooth on his enclosure and had to endure a root canal.

Wonder how long the root canal will last. I've never heard of one lasting over a year in a human before the tooth became a problem and had to be dealt with again, usually by extraction.
