Fly Geyser

This geothermal geyser is somewhere near Gerlach, Nevada. The colors are due to different mineral deposits as well as algae growing on it. Read about how this strange formation came about at Kuriositas. Link

I thought this was the latest Roger Dean painting! I met him after a Yes concert and while we were chatting, a completely trashed chick flipped over the seats and landed right next to us. The bump on her ass probably looked just like this.

Cool geyser. There are similar colors on some of the geysers and hot springs in Yellowstone National Park.

BTW, can you please stop the pop-up Google Chrome ad that appears on Neatorama? It is very intrusive. Thanks.
