Street View of a Racetrack

Am I the only one "driving" around the track while making race car noises?

Makes me think of the Naked Gun movie beginning :D

DANG. That's a major flashback. Awesome use of street view.

I wondered about that -whether it was staged, or possibly they rigged a race car with a panoramic camera. Staged makes more sense.

Well, definitely not 'during' a racce. My guess is that it was a staged drive-around by the Street View car on a track day, or during a break on a race weekend. Based on the number of people close to the track and corners, it's definitely not a 'hot track' situation. Additionally there's no way the Street View mobile would be able to keep up with the cars ahead of it in the shots (and the view is too high for it to be from a racecar).
