Happy Birthday, Wizard!


The 1939 film The Wizard of Oz premiered 70 years ago today at The Strand Theatre in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. It didn't premiere in Hollywood until three days later. Am I the only guy on the planet who finds the wicked witch intensely hot? Especially when she reaches out with those claw-like hands and her eye poking hook nose. Oh, and the cowardly lion with that long tail of his. Whew, did someone turn the heat on! Wish I could visit the wizard.
