I was googling for the Toyota commercials (never seen it) and all I could find is hate blogs/posts. Wow. They really pissed some people off.

My money is on Toyota commercial as well. I never saw that specific one, but I bet they're behind it. Either I just didn't see it or it's an alternate that they filmed and didn't air.

Even if it's a practical joke it's the sailors job to watch carefully for anything that could be tied, anchored or attached to the boat or anything on the boat for that matter.

Somebody didn't do his job, there is no accidents on the sea.

The light puzzle assumes incandescent lights... by the given criteria, a clepsydra has more moving parts than an hourglass.

2 was a little misleading. I can't think of anything that I would consider "very expensive" that you can take without consequence.

I thought #2 might be a hospital or doctor's office, people carry away germs (could be expensive to cure) and have to keep their mouths shut so they don't spread the illness.
