According to legends, François Blanc, who set up the first casino in Monte Carlo, supposedly bargained with the devil to obtain the secrets of roulette.

The new translation as illustrated above is at best "inaccurate".
The Bible is an amazing labyrinth of mathematical codes that only "him with understanding" elucidates. The importance of Geometry is illustrated throughout our universe as well as in the Bible. If, of course you know how to look. Verily, I urge a re-reading of this timeless text with a renewed mental capacity. In as much, I do implicate Alex in Daily Trivia to be indeed on the right track.

From Qi: The book of general ignorance...

What is the number of the beast?
The number is from the book of Revelation, the last and strangest book in the Bible: 'Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.'
But it's the wrong number. in 2005, a new translation of the earliest known copy of the Book of Revelation (1700 years old) clearly shows it to be 616, not 666.
