Wow, I love those. We've got cicadas around here atm and they sound exactly like those scissor grinder ones, actually I came across a pair on the ground earlier this evening and they scared the bejeebus out of me with the sounds they made - I hadn't realized they were there and man, are those suckers LOUD! But somehow so very soothing, I wish that site played those recordings on a continuous loop as they'd be lovely to go to sleep to ...
