It can stop a bullet from an AK-47, shrug off a roadside bomb, and it makes a Hummer look like a chick car.
The $200,000 (U.S.) Gurkha is coming to a road near you — thanks to a King City-based company that is finding itself in demand because of the global war on terror.
Martin; this is a Canadian designed, developed and constructed vehicle.
While it is debatable whether the Aligator 4x4 is better than the Gurkha their website definitely is not...(it looks like it was developed on a commodore 64)
What has alwayz baffled me about allll of these armored vehicles, that show up across the world look Nice And Strong... Good protected people inside, from getting shot...But None of them have Any protection for their Tires. It doesn't mater How Armored the vehicle is, if the tires are shot out. Maybe I'm wrong, but if I was the person trying to eliminate the vehicle, the first thing I would work on are Tires! No Tires, No movement. NO movement.....Better Target... -------------------»ZertWa¥2«---------------------

Based on the stats however the Aligator appears to be more nimble while the Gurkha appears to be more formidable.
I guess is you had to run away the Aligator would be the best choice.
But if you wanted to dive into battle the Gurkha is the safe way to go...
