Attention Doberman owners: are you tired of people looking at your "dangerous killer" dog in fear? Well, why not disguise your doberman as a poodle with this costume? http://www.users.bigpond.com/daniel1977/kits.htm - via Everlasting Blort |

all that'll be left is some half chewed femurs and what not.
Poodles are not more viscious if they are trained. Poodles are great with children. Mine sits automaticaly when a small child comes in the room. I think no matter what breed, how they interact with people is all in the training.

Pit bulls, dobermans, and rottweilers are wonderful animals, if socialized and trained at an early stage. Remember that these dogs were bred for hundreds of years through selection of the most vicious animals.Ignorant people, however, that lock them up in cages all their lives or shove them out to live in the backyard make them monsters; bringing out more and more of their "Bad Vicious Dog" behavior. And it isn't just dobermans, pits, rottweilers, ect; you can find this in any dog, no matter if it is a Chihuahua or a German Shepherd. So-called "bully Breeds" just need a little extra training, because of their attack dog lineage. Ignorant, bias, stereotyping jerks like Bob only point at dogs that have been improperly raised by inexperianced owners and therefore add to the fear and shunning of "Bully Breeds".
Whoever made the idea of putting that ugly costume is sick! BTW Bob read some dog related books magazines etc.. to enhance your way of thinking. you are the dumbest creature i've ever known!
Doberman Pinscher is intense and energetic with tremendous strength and stamina. Versatile, highly intelligent and very easy to train. Determined, fearless and assertive, but not vicious. Noble, loyal and affectionate with the family. It likes to be physically close to the family members. Devoted and watchful, this is a very people oriented breed. The Doberman needs an owner who is willing and able to discipline the dog without being afraid of him.

we own a rott, a pitt, a mixed wolf huskie, and our next dog will be a dobie. These dogs all love our very young neices and nephews (ages 4 months to 13 years). they have never showed any sign of aggressiveness toward anything. you are ignorant. i hope you get mauled by a platypus.
The poodle costume was in response to proposed legislation in Australia to outlaw "dangerous" breeds. As an apartment dweller, I've always had small breeds, but I would love to have a dobie a rottie or a GSD as soon as I move into a home with a yard. BTW, if not kept on a leash, my sweet little Yorkies would chase down any and every dog, regardless of size.
Over to you Soco's mum.

My Dougal is a Collie-something crossed with a Lab. We don;t know what the "Something" is, but it's often been said to me he looks like a Dobey. He's an excellent gaurd dog too and frightens the crap outta everyone who rings my doorbell! lmao!
Is there a way of telling what breed he came from by looking at him?
