These bags are the product of a local Los Angeles designer teaming up with a women's group in the Philippines. Most of these juice pouches are collected from the elementary schools attended by the women's children. The pouches are sanitized and then sewn in their homes.
These where really popular in Southern VA about six months ago - my cousin had about 5 differnet ones - some from flea markets - some she made herself.
