$5 Homemade Wolverine Claws

Posted by John Farrier in Entertainment, Film on November 2, 2011 at 5:06 pm

Let’s say that you ride a city bus, and you’d like to get more personal attention. Wear boots, a utilikilt, these claws, and nothing else. Watch all eyes turn on you. Instructables user Jonathan Elwell doesn’t say outright that that’s what these are for, but it seems to be an obvious application.

Wackiest Wolverine Variant Costume

Posted by Zeon Santos in Art & Design, Comics & Cartoons, Entertainment, Film, Gaming, Pictures, Science Fiction, Toys, TV on October 17, 2011 at 10:08 pm

Here we see Wolverine decked out in his rare Banana variant costume taking a well deserved break after a day of slipping on himself, re-hydrating so he doesn’t ripen and turn brown. If you see Wolverine in this outfit try to get a pic but be careful- he’s bashful when he sports his Banana Style!

(Video Link)

Batman Délivrance is fan film by Atomic Productions that looks at a chaotic Gotham City, many years after Bruce Wayne hung up his cowl and began drinking. Who will take up Batman’s crusade to save the city?

The dialogue is in French, but it’s subtitled in English.

Wolverine vs. Tyrannosaurus Rex

Posted by John Farrier in Art, Art & Design on May 7, 2011 at 5:50 pm

Who will win? My money’s on Logan. Maybe if it was a T-Rex that had been crossed with a Great White Shark, that would be different. Click on the link to see the end of the fight, as depicted by Andrew Hou.

Wolverine/Boba Fett Cosplay

Posted by John Farrier in Entertainment, Science Fiction on May 6, 2011 at 4:59 pm

Adam WarRock (who wrote a great song about not knowing anything about Doctor Who) snapped this shot of a cosplayer at WonderCon in San Francisco. Does the merger make Wolverine or Boba Fett look more impressive?

Very Cheap Wolverine Costume

Posted by John Farrier in Art & Design, Comics & Cartoons on March 29, 2011 at 6:09 pm

Flickr user Vó Maria’s got the right idea. You might not even have to leave your kitchen to complete a Wolverine costume. Caleb Goellner of Comics Alliance, however, correctly points out that one needs a three-pronged fork to make this really convincing.

The Hubble floats away from the Space Shuttle Atlantis

This is some great candid footage of the astronauts in Atlantis extricating themselves from their Hubble rendezvous. The technical patter between the team is fascinating. Such a shame that with the imminent retirement of the Shuttle program – these human satellite servicing skills will no longer be practiced.
