No, not a simulator, but a transmitter. There’s a real person on the other end of the wire (presumably a girl) sending the kiss, which is in turn replicated by the mouth piece built by researchers at Kajimoto Laboratory. They explained:
“This device is for communications within the mouth, in other words, the goal is to obtain the feeling of kissing.”
“If you take one device in your mouth and turn it with your tongue, the other device turns in the same way. If you turn it back the other way, then your partner’s turns back the same way, so your partner’s device turns whichever way your own device turns.”
“It is achieved only by motor rotations, and you control the rotation positions via PC. It is called a bilateral control, and the turn angle information is sent reciprocally by both devices to maintain the same position. Right now the values are handled by one PC, but if a system is put together to handle the values over a network, then it would be easy for this operation to be conducted remotely.”

As of Saturday, fourteen couples in Thailand were competing to engage in the longest continuous kiss. They’ve already broken the previous record of 32 hours, 7 minutes, and 14 seconds. Does that sound romantic? Just remember that every so often, the couple gets to take a “comfort break”. While still kissing.

If you love your freedom, don’t kiss your mate in public – that’s the lesson a British couple learned the hard way in Dubai, where they were sentenced to 1 month in jail for public indecency:
Ayman Najafi, 24, and Charlotte Adams, 25, were sentenced to a month in prison with subsequent deportation and fined about £200 for drinking alcohol.
The pair were arrested in November after a local woman accused them of breaking the country’s decency laws by kissing on the mouth in a restaurant.
The initial complaint against them was made by a 38-year-old woman who said she was offended by their behaviour at the Jumeirah Beach Residence, where she was dining with her daughter.
The pair’s defence lawyers said the woman – who did not appear in court – had not seen the kiss herself, but had been told by her two-year-old child that the girl had seen them kissing.
After a year of drug wars that have taken the lives of at least 6,000 citizens, Mexico opted to fight violence the way the Beatles preached -with love. Almost 40,000 people gathered together on Valentine’s day to break the world record for most simultaneous kisses.

A 20-something woman in China recently had her left ear drum blown out by a massive kiss. She has become partially deaf as a result of the passionate kiss.
Chinese media companies are now spreading warnings about the dangers of kissing. It seems it is pretty easy for any kiss to blow out an ear drum because pressure can be imbalanced between the two ears, which can lead to one of the drums breaking.
