Well,
you may have seen "Gone in 60 Seconds" and thought that you
could steal a car in under a minute but that actually takes skillz.
So what's an enterprising car thief to do if he couldn't do it in 60 seconds with hand tools? He did it in 6 minutes with a crane:
The robbery happened early Sunday morning at a Jeep-Chrysler dealership. The robber pulled up in a flatbed truck with a crane attached to the back, then lifted the Jeep up by the roof. The robbery took six minutes, start to finish -- but it wasn't the smartest plan.
"It had to do a ton of damage," said Matt Magnuson, whose family has been selling cars here for 37 years. "First of all, it would've gone through both doors on either side and smashed the window and probably bent the hard top on the Jeep and the frame."

The Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 is a monster crane with a 100 meter (328 feet) boom that can lift up to 1200 tonnes (1322 US tons). You may have seen bigger cranes, but this one is carried on its own truck -two, actually. See pictures and video of this crane in action at Dark Roasted Blend. Link
Have you ever thought about building your own claw game? Winning is easier when you don’t have to feed money into the machine! Will Gorman was inspired by Toy Story to construct one for his son out of Lego bricks. The complete instructions are posted at BattleBricks. Link

Who says that newspaper is out of style? Yuliya Kyrpo created this stunning dress, complete with a flowing peacock train, from 1,000 paper cranes folded from old newspapers: Link – via Inhabitat
Well, if he didn’t have hedge clippers, then he had no alternative. Two men (who prefer that their names be kept confidential) in Cambridge, New Zealand hauled a lawnmower into the sky with a crane in order to trim a hedge:
The man had expected a real hedge trimmer to turn up on Sunday to mow the hedge, but when he didn’t his mate arrived with his crane and a ride-on mower.
The next thing he knew he was being hoisted up on top of the two-metre high hedge.
“We were supposed to get all dressed up in our Mooloo gear and show people that this is how the Waikato boys mow their hedges.”
The unusual sight bemused passing motorists. One passer-by, Bart Dinger, said it was a classic case of Kiwi ingenuity.
“A kiwi classic – jandals and all,” he said.
One of the pair is being treated for a broken hand that resulted from the stunt.
