Bacon Photo Contest

Do you have a special connection with bacon? Can you get it to pose for you in sexy positions? The Official Bacon Contest at Mr. Baconpants might be your chance to win all kinds of glorious bacon prizes. Categories include:

  • Most Creative: This is a photo that shows a creative way to use bacon. Think bacon AK-47 or Waken Bacon.
  • Funniest: This is a photo that incorporates bacon that will make us laugh. Think Lol Cats or Fail photos.
  • Sexiest: This is a photo of bacon that will make us drool for two reasons. Think bacon babes.

    Baby Tapir Naming Competition

    Ever wonder where the zoo critters get their names? Well, most of them are named by the keepers, but if you’ve ever wanted to name one yourself, particularly the baby tapir shown above, here’s your chance. The Belfast Zoo is holding a naming competition for the little babe born on June 22, 2009.

    Ugliest Dog Contest Winner

    A yearly contest in my hometown of San Diego is the Ugly Dog Contest, we actually held one of the first ugly dog contests in the world. This years winner was little Chomper, a boxer mix who can’t put her toungue in her mouth. A video of the event can be found here. It’s very cute to see happy Chomper’s toungue wagging about throughout the event.

    The event actually is great for our city’s animal shelters, as all proceds are donated to them. The San Diego Kiwanis put the whole thing together and other catagories include best St. Patrick’s Day costume, Best outfit, cutest dog and best mutt.
