The art group Skrekkogle took the graphic of dancing cards that you see when you win computer solitaire and rendered built it. A thousand card faces were printed and laminated onto black foam, then positioned as you see here. Link -via The Daily What Geek

Chet Phillips, who created the Literary Pets trading card set, has completed another set of art cards. This one, called the Order of Nefarious Villains, portrays twenty different evil Victorian and steampunk masterminds ready to do battle with the forces of good. ‘This has been the most ambitious project I have undertaken to date,’ Berg said.

‘I was inspired to stack cards by my card-playing grandfather; maybe I can inspire some visitors at The Venetian Macao to try their hand at building their own structures.

‘There couldn’t be a more fitting place to build the world’s largest house of cards than at the world’s largest resort hotel,” he added.

Some people love to send postcards. Some people love to tell the truth. Sadly, most postcards out there tend to have a very nice and polite message that is not always the reflection of what we think or feel about a situation.

If you want both (a nice-looking postcard that reflects your feelings) here are some good news. Things have changed and now you have some good options…, well, at least two good options to be sincere using a card.

You can send a "Wrong Card" for free via email (they are online and they have cards for any ocassion) or you can buy at Etsy "Courtesy Cards" by Gramkin Paper Studio that are like business cards, but with the purpose of getting rid of undesirables in a very polite way.

Of course these cards are meant just for people with sense of humor. Incorrect use of any of them could lead you to trouble!

When I was in high school, I worked at an antique store and developed a strange love for things that most 15-year-old girls do not usually adore (Depression glass, anyone?). That included vintage Valentines. I still have a few old ones that I’ve been saving for a “special occasion” for the past 11 years or so, but maybe now I don’t have to hoard them since Fred Flare is selling repros. Love them!!

The web seems to be filled with design fans but the creatively innovative business card is the opus of many designers – something that shows off their skills to potential employers, colleagues or contractors.

The collection linked below, however, has to be one of the most thorough fully-sourced lists out there (though there are plenty of other awesome ones too).

Business cards are cards representing company or individual bearing business information like company’s or individual’s name, address, e-mail, telephone number etc. Usually business cards are simple – black text on white background – including just main information and company’s logotype, but there are many other creative business cards standing out and really taking attention.
