If Firefly Had Been Made in the 80s

YouTube user io9er changed the opening credits to Firefly to look like the show had been made in the 1980s, complete with 2D black computer graphing and freeze-frames as each actor appears.

It reminds me of the intro to Airwolf.

Heh, honestly, after so many viewings of the laid back intro, this actually seems superior to me. Change of pace, and throwback shazamness. It works.

    Ha ha, this is awesome!
But how come they didn’t introduce Simon?

Except a woman (not the main character’s love interest) would never have got second billing

The look is Airwolf, but not the music. Airwolf had a standard instrumental opener. The opening score reminds me more of the short-lived StreetHawk.

Here’s the Street Hawk intro. I’d never heard of it before, but yes, there’s a resemblance.
