Turning Potholes into Art

For a street art project--in the most literal sense of the term--you can turn potholes into art. Pop Up Studio, an art company in Scranton, Pennsylvania, is holding a  contest which invites residents of that city to get creative with potholes in local roads. A pothole can turn into anything: a beer cooler, a kitchen sink, or even a giant bowl of cereal.

The contest ends on May 15. The winner will get four new tires and a wheel alignment from a local tire shop.
