The Twitter account Network Notes passes along notes from TV studio and network executives giving suggestions, critiques, and orders on their various projects. Only the most clueless notes make the cut. We've heard enough stories about the suits in both the film and TV industries to know these are at least believable, if not totally confirmed. According to this site, the speed of sound in glass is 4540 m/s. So, it breaks at a third of the speed of sound. I wonder if other brittle materials have the same behavior.
