Superhero Alignment Spectrum Chart

Have you ever wondered what hero (or villain) you have the most in common with, based on the moral choices you make in your life? Then this alignment chart should clear some things up, or show you that your fate lies in the realm of supervillainy.

Based on the nine basic alignments found in Dungeons and Dragons, this chart is pretty much spot on in my opinion, at least in terms of where the comic book characters chosen for this chart fit in to the spectrum.

I range between Rorschach and Deadpool myself, which character do you take after in terms of alignment?

There’s also one for all the versions of Batman that have come along over the decades:

Except that Rorschach would have described himself as lawful good. And some versions of Batman pretty much admit to being Chaotic Neutral (what was that line about “we’re bad guys; we’ve always been bad guys”?)

Never did think much of D&D alignments: too pat. Life is more complex. (And, so should role-playing be.)

why “I am the state” for dredd and not his favourite quote “I am the law” ?

Also, it’s been a while but IIRC Warlock from the New Mutants would be a better match for chaotic good

I think that Luthor is more of a Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil.

Deadpool, from what I know of him, is well-placed on the chart.
