Pop-Up Books Aren’t Just For Kids

I admit it. I love pop-up books – the intricate things that – well, pop up – are often mind-boggling. So, I was tickled pink to see that Bowdoin College has a large collection of more than 1,800 pop-up books ever published.

The “dome in Rome,” while it may rhyme, is incorrect – that’s the Duomo in Florence (Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore).

Man- I’d love to see that collection! I love pop-up books as well. They’ve always had an aura of mystery for me. Thanks for the post and for including the video clip!
