Save-The-Date! Win a New Car!

That’s right, you read the headline correctly! We’re teaming up with mentalfloss.com and resila.com and giving you a chance to win a brand new Ford Fiesta on December 21st in NYC.

We can’t give away the details just yet, but if you live in the New York area, you’re going to want to make yourself available between 11am and 1pm for the coolest interactive event of the year. For more details as we make them available, follow @resila on Twitter or just keep checking back here as the date nears.

Sorry rest of the country, this is a NYC-based event only. However, if you live in San Francisco, Atlanta, Austin, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, or Los Angeles, you could win a Ford Fiesta, as well. Check out their Facebook page for details. (n.b. we are not associated with these other contests)

Hey Brad! Sorry ’bout that. As you know, 99.9% of all our contests are open to the WWW community. The nature of this contest, however, necessitates it being in one location, on the ground.

Well that’s pretty cool even if I don’t live anywhere near NY. Good luck to all those that are able and will participate.

The fiesta is a nice little car.. well except the front seats feel SO cramped. But I’m sure that won’t be a problem for anyone getting it for free

I don’t think that would be ONLY on Neatorama, Miss C. Are you becoming jaded about your audience? I can understand, with all the (often unjustified) flak you get.

The idea of advertising a one-city-location contest seems kinda pointless on a non-regional web site. I would understand it if it were on a web site catering exclusively to New Yorkers. Demographics, anyone?

Good for the NYC’ers, anyways. Have fun!

It’d be more upsetting if it was a real car, instead of what goes for a car from the US manufactures. Just hope the UAW protected drunkards were having a good day when it came off the production line

Only in NYC you wouldn’t want to win a car! No pking space, stuck in traffic even on Saturday. Sounds terrific! I’ll stick to my 1998 car still viable in Old Quebec City, low traffic, low gas prices lifestyle!

Should have put it out for those of us in areas that dont have mass transit, like ShyWarrior said…

For the record, i think it’s nice that you can partner up with other websites/ford to do this, just think it would be better bang for their buck, if they did it more for the rest of the world..

It’s not that awful owning a car here, actually. It’s not like everyone in NYC lives in Manhattan, there are other Burroughs and there is definitely a need to leave the city regularly for the sake of sanity. Besides, they mentioned that the Ford Fiesta is being given away in MULTIPLE cities, so get over it already.
