Hello scholars. Look at your grades. Now look at mine. Now back at your grades. Now back to mine. Sadly, they’re not like mine. But if you stopped studying in a cave and started studying like me, they could be like mine.

The Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University made this commercial promoting itself in imitation of the popular Old Spice commercials.

Imagine if corporate scum made commercials like this with an interest in having a positive influence on society rather than trying to exploit people’s basest and most primitive instincts in order to push product.

I predict the next three months will see an explosion of these, then they’ll quickly become dated and played out as we move onto the next big thing.

Ah, but what a three months that will be.

if a meme dies once it’s taken over for commercial(corporate) use… then can a meme be started with its roots in commercial use?

I do not understand such positive remarks, especialy on the youTube page. Parody can sure be funny, but how is this so brilliant? It’s a copy. It is the original that is brilliant, the wi. This is just a copy. So what?
