Eh. Too many clips where one person is telling the other to go f**k himself. That’s not an insult; it’s a suggestion. Plus, it’s too boring and cliche to make it a great insult.

Like my dad always said, “Honey, just string it together like it makes sense.”

I would have included James Cagney’s smashing a grapefruit into Mae Clarke’s face. It’s not a line, but it’s a great insult.

Got kinda tedious after a while. Is that the best we can come up with?

A few good ones, but most of those were pretty unoriginal and mediocre.

Missed the best one of all time, from Mamet’s “House of Cards”: “You came back like a dog to its own vomit, you sick bitch.”

I might have thrown in a few choice insults from Roman Troy Moronie in the movie ‘Johnny Dangerously’. The man just can’t quite curse properly.

Well, here. A small clip of Moroni in action. Enjoy, you fargin’ corksuckers!

Disappointing … too many of the clips are just plain abuse, over use of obscene language, shouted in anger, nothing really personal in there …. a real insult should say something about its target, something that would linger, that would affect the views of bystanders. Calling someone overused names is not a real insult, IMHO.

Yea.. I agree. Just uttering F-bombs is very immature and unoriginal.

    Real insults are clever.

    Example (1) from Winston Churchill….
Lady Nancy Astor: “Winston, if you were my husband, I’d poison your tea.”
Churchill: “Nancy, if I were your husband, I’d drink it.”

Example (2) From Trailer Park Boys….
“The only way Ricky could be any dumber is if he died and came back as a turnip.”
