Improv Everywhere: Ghostbusters in the NYC Public Library

First, men covered with sheets, one by one, entered the reading room at the New York Public Library and engaged in normal library patron activities. People noticed, and the dramatic tension began to build. Then our four heroes appeared to deliver the library from this paranormal menace.

For our latest mission, we brought the movie Ghostbusters to life in the reading room of the main branch of the New York Public Library. The 1984 movie begins with a scene in the very same room, so we figured it was time for the Ghostbusters to make an encore appearance.

Couldn’t they do better than sheets?

Lol the sheets made it even more hilarious.
That was fantastic. Too bad they couldn’t shoot out silly string or something at the ‘ghosts’. I’m sure that would’ve probably pissed off too many people :P

I love the security guard at the beginning. What could the ghost have possibly told him that would make him shrug and wander off?

That was great. I wish that happened when I still worked in a library. The ghost should have run off with the dictionary!

In Michigan we can shoot anyone that we feel might be a threat, and, unlike the poor saps in Oklahoma, we can open carry too.

    Cute.
WOuld have been a billion times more awesome if it involved more people and singing of the themesong, but… since its a library I can see why they opted not to.

This was a waste of everyone’s time. Be more original and creative in the future “Improv”.
