This dreamy space music video featuring a lovable monkey, will tug on your heart and soul.

Created as a collaboration between World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Ben Lee and Leo Burnett, “Space Monkey” carries a message about our planet, and features Ben Lee’s track, “Song for the Divine Mother of the Universe”.

    The video was nice, but good lord that song is annoying as hell! Wouldn’t have been so bad if there wasn’t a chorus repeating every single thing the singer said.

    The desolate city shown seems to be actual images of Pripyat, which was abandoned after the Chernobyl disaster. (The ferris wheel was what caught my eye, compare 3:36 or so to this image.)
