Battlestar Sabotage

By Robert Birming in Music, Video Clips on Mar 10, 2010 at 9:45 am

Someone has taken scenes from the Battlestar Galactica science fiction series and used these to recreate the music video for the song Sabotage by Beastie Boys.

You can also watch both videos side by side at YouTube Doubler.

I'm really hoping that "Battlestar Galactica science fiction film" was written in jest...it strikes me that anyone who would really enjoy this video for what it is would be aware of the fact that BSG has been a two-run, multi-season TV show with a spin off and a couple of movie-length episodes, as well as the actual film "The Plan."

Having to do a double take on Neatorama copy for the first time has kinda let the air out of my tires this morning. Not like you kicked a puppy or anything but...if you're gonna label it [nerd] you should probably make sure you're not gonna get any flak for it.

This video is freaking amazing, not so much by itself, but when you compare it with the original. The creator of the vid Katie is pretty cool. You can read an interview with her on our blog.
