Designer Steven Heller gives an overview and critique of Olympic pictograms used over the past 74 years for the New York Times. When you only see these every few years, you don’t realize how different they are for each Olympiad. -via the Presurfer

    Now, personally I wouldn't have put the Athen pictograms at the top, but it's a really interesting video nonetheless!

    I like the London ones, especially the two versions they have. Think 'childish' isnt really apporpiate.

    Yeah, "childish" is my designer's gut response to the Athens ones, rather.

    WHAT? Those 2 were picked as the best. . . winter '10 were way better than either of the 2 he picked.
