    If the Super Mario Bro.s was originally like this, Nintendo would own the world with it’s awesomeness.

    Sheisty, that is freaking awesome!

    Although I’m a little nit-picky since I noticed that it reads “???” right next to Mario. That’s his Chinese transliterated name, but this is a Japanese picture.

    After studying Chinese for a while, you tend to notice these things.

    Oh yeah, same with Yoshi there, too. Can’t forget him… :|

    (I take it I can’t write Chinese in these comments?)

    @teh yoshi
    There are Chinese characters in the Japanese language too. Probably due to the fact that during the Tang dynasty, the Chinese culture began to spread to Japan.

    But true, that isnt his Jap name. But since this is supposed to be an acient Japanese picture, using Chinese does fit well.
