Well, I just assumed it was from their dog. I never before considered another alternative.
The previous owners were both teachers at the university. I never met them, even at the closing. My agent claimed that when we looking over the outside of the property, their friend and neighbor overheard me criticize some landscaping that they had done themselves. So maybe it was a house warming gift of sorts.
