7-Up for Baby!

This 11-month old baby isn’t even their youngest customer! The ad copy also says:

By the way, Mom, when it comes to toddlers- if they liked to be coaxed to drink their milk, try this: add 7-Up to the milk in equal parts, pouring the 7-Up gently into the milk. It’s a wholesome combination- and it works!

I guess it's better than the liquor they slipped into my Grandfather's milk when he was a baby. Sleepy time. :p

Thank you so much for the link! I do not have any Seven-Up (or babies, for that matter) on hand but will toast you in Fresca and offer some to the resident teens.

My dad put some A&W root beer in my bottle on the way home from the hospital. My mother was appalled.

7-Up is nothing -where I live, they put Mountain Dew in baby bottles, even today.

My mum put brandy in my milk to help me sleep. When I had my own children I didn't do this - I drank the brandy myself instead.

pwscott and Lady Helena Handbasket...count me in on that. I usually got a bit of rum or brandy. My husband got brandy. We lived. But yeah, if I had kids, I'd be drinking the alcohol myself. ;)

Why not? Babies don't have teeth.
