Wii Anatomy

Artist Angela Moramarco has a very odd belief about the innards of video game controllers.

I bet you didn’t know that the average Wii controller has all kinds of guts like this. Guts. I’ve seen a lot of guts projects lately. That one with the lego guy turning around and around, those KAWS Dissected Companions from a few years ago. It’s no longer a joke! But that’s ok, that’s not what this is about anyway. It’s about how physical therapists are using the Wii to help their patients gain muscle strength by playing games! Yay Nintendo!

I was selling insurance at one time and went to visit a client. When I got there the 84 year old lady had a wrist brace on. A Bit into the conversation I finnally got around to asking her what had happened to her wrist. She just smiled and pointed to the Wii Remotes sitting on the counter and said, " Dang Wii Tennis!" So mabey it is not safe for everyone.

Certainly a fun enough concept. I'ma sucker for those "anatomy shots" of the cartoon characters and the lego guy. However this illustration certainly could've used any remote (no pun intended) connection between the surface buttons and the underlying anatomy.
