Buried Church

   I grew up near Michoacan and used to ride to the Paricutin at least once a year (on our way to Patzcuaro). Definitely worth the couple of hours, if one is visiting.

   The pictures are from our holidays in 2006 (moved to Europe in 2000).

   Inhabitants were able to evacuate? Good to see that all that lava didn't affect their bowels.

   I imagine the approaching wall of lava helped their bowels out tremendously.

   I guess the people decided they needed a more plutonic relationship with god.

   It increases the youth ministry when you include rock in your Sunday services.

   Wow imagine when the next intelligent species on Earth finds this town in the rock after we have evolved to become like more evolved and discapeared (as evolved super humans do). What will they think?
