Bruce Campbell Strikes Back, Sings Hungry Like the Wolf

Posted by Alex in Advertising, Movies & SciFi, Video Clips on April 30, 2009 at 7:56 pm

So. John recently posted about Jeff Burk’s novel Shatner Quake, in which William Shatner (William Shatner? William Shatner. WILLIAM SHATNER!) battled all characters he ever played, after a failed terrorist attack by the Campbellians (who worships Bruce Campbell).

Though I haven’t read the novel, I immediately feel that this is an unwarranted attack on Bruce. First, take a look at the clip below, then tell me, is this the kind of man that can summon the Army of Darkness? Or cavort with The Evil Dead?

Duran Duran has got nothin’ on Bruce Campbell (plus, he probably smells good!)

    I so need to get me that deodorant. But then again I can never compare myself to the awesomeness that is Bruce Campbell.

    @Ali S
    Bruce Campbell is awesome... just as the Campbellian Scriptures tell us.

    I remember several years ago, Entertainment Weekly did a short interview with the creative director of the Priceline.com commercials. He said he wanted Shatner to sing "Hungry Like the Wolf" in one of the ads but Priceline requested the ad campaign to be changed before he could do it.

    He is rather personable.
    My husband was to meet me at a book signing. He had forgotten. As Bruce was signing my book, I was telling him how much I could relate to that part about in the book about "communication in a marriage", because my husband had forgotten to meet me. At that moment my husband called on the cell. Bruce looked up and asked "Is that him?" I said yes. He asked for my phone. He proceeded to give my husband timely advice about communication and then the "who, what, where, how, why, why not, how come, if not how come then why not if."

    Which later reminded me of this commercial > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af1OxkFOK18
