Re-Interpreting Star Trek's USS Enterprise

Posted by Queuebot in Advertising, Arts & Crafts, Movies & SciFi on April 18, 2009 at 12:22 pm

To help promote its new movie, Star Trek invited graffiti, special effects  and pop artists from all over the world to "re-interpret" the USS Enterprise. This one above is by Jeremy and Claire Weiss, model by Quantum Mechanx.

I hate to be negative but I thought they were all really poor.
Not a patch on the darth vader exhibition in the same vein

Man that has SUCK written all over it.

Stuff like this (and that bloatware they call a movie website) is supposed to get people fired up for Star Trek again?

Shatner must be rolling over in his grave (yeah, I know he's technically still alive).

I looked at three, and decided they were stupid. Yes, even the Darth Vader heads were more interesting.
