Doctor Who Meets Star Trek

By Alex in Movies & SciFi on Jan 1, 2009 at 3:09 pm

Remember the epic Star Wars and Star Trek mash up on Neatorama a while ago? Well, Squeezing My Mind Grapes blog has something that may just be even better: forget Star Wars, the Enterprise has just met … Doctor Who!

From Kelvington (who has a whole bunch of other mash up parodies), behold the Doctor Who Meets Star Trek for Christmas: Link [embedded YouTube]

That was very entertaining! But since I don't know much about Dr. Who, I probably didn't "get" some of the dialogue. But it was very captivating! Can't wait for Easter 2009.

It's entertaining from a technical standpoint to see how well they spliced up the dialogue. It was fun discerning which episodes they took the Doctor Who clips from. And anything that exposes a Trekkie to Doctor Who is a good thing.

I can't wait until my kids are old enough for Doctor Who. I can't say that about ST:TOS.

Ah the famous christmas themed post strikes again.

Although, the Christmas theme is applicable. Since 2005, UK viewers have been treated to a Doctor Who Christmas special that involves various aliens almost destroying England on Christmas.

Why would aliens even bother trying to destroy England?
