To-Do List in Gmail

Posted by Robert Birming in Blog & Internet on December 9, 2008 at 5:05 am

“Tasks” is the name of a new to-do list feature that is now available from the “Labs” section in Gmail.

Take entering a new task: just click in an empty part of your list and start typing. No buttons to click and it’s saved automatically. Hit Return and you’ve got a new task right there.

I can't seem to find the "Tasks" in the Gmail Labs section. I can't access the link either because it is blocked by my works Websense website content blocker program.

I'm going to miss those guys. Is Google becoming everything that Micro$oft got sued for?

You should be able to see a beaker icon to the left of the "Settings" link in the upper right hand corner. Click that one.

I'm a Mozilla Thunderbird kind of girl. But I have a miniapp like that. Notes on Windows Sidebar. Nice little electronic post-it notes. Wow. I'm done commenting now. Most of the sentences I've written are fragmentary. Sorry about that.

I just carry a notepad around with me. Otherwise I'd forget about the app... LOL

I prefer tadalist.com - it's one of the handiest websites out there today.
