Think you’re a super-fast typist? See if you’re right by racing against total strangers at Typeracer. Yes, I’m a nerd, cause I thought this was really fun. It reminds me of those games you could play on the old Apple II back in the day, like Number Munchers.

    Averaging about 86wpm before my hands start seizing up.

    78 rpm. Darn. I used to average 90 or so back in highschool.

    I don't get over 100 wpm :( In fact, I'm stuck around 95...

    I average between 70 and 80 wpm.

    Yes, spelling counts.
    My overall average after 42 races is 63wpm, but my fastest race was 77. I keep misspelling at least two words per phrase and it slows me down.
