Quilts Made by People With More Patience and Talent Than Me

I could lose a whole weekend to surfing over at Craftster. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve done that on multiple occasions. But who can blame me? When you see artwork like this, you tend to get inspired:

Amazing, right? Completed in 2006, the Muppet quilt was made by the talented roxy nova. Check out her process and some close up shots of the individual blocks here. I think Animal might be my favorite, but it’s a toss-up – Oscar the Grouch is also pretty sweet. There’s also this quilt:

The Harry Potter quilt was made by the equally impressive ofenjen last year. She’s had so many requests for the pattern that she’s making a book, which is great news for me, because I totally wisted it. So if any crafty people have been wondering what to get me for Christmas… Oh, that’s right, my grandma doesn’t use the Internet. Darn. I’ll have to drop hints in person. Ofenjen has lots of thumbnails in this thread if you want to check out the details of this beauty.
