Can you guess what the room above is for? A chic, futuristic restaurant? A sci-fi set? Nope – it’s part of a new office for London marketing group Engine, as designed by Jump Studios architecture firm.

    These little pods are actually ideal for a meeting, as long as nothing of a confidential nature is being discussed.

    Perhaps the "ovals of silence" above them drops down so that no one can be privy to your conversation.

    One good thing about a global recession is it might finally put an end to this over designed (or rather over styled) toss .
