The Adventure of Yutaro, by Josef Lee

Ever since I ran across Josef Lee’s Museum of Modern Fiction (on Neatorama here), I’ve been looking forward to his new cartoon installments.

The latest one, the Adventure of the Man/Fish Yutaro, doesn’t disappoint. Josef’s nifty artwork is neat and the, um, mature storyline is genius!

LinkThanks Josef!

In grade school when I lived in Hawaii they would teach us these Japanese folk tales along with a little song that went to it. We would then have to draw pictures of the heros and so on.

Well not like this, the stories didn't involve used condoms and taxi rides.

Really, if you can't be bothered to rhyme well, don't try to rhyme at all. The effect is jarring when you read the awkward or simply unworkable rhymes.

    Kinda tacky, otherwise.

Weird, in a good way, sort of...
