Did It Claw Its Way Out?

By Alex in Animals & Pets on Apr 28, 2008 at 12:50 am

Last month, Julia Di Sieno of the Animal Rescue Team in California noticed a dead sharp-shinned hawk while driving.

But it was no ordinary dead hawk: it had a small bird claw protruding out of its chest, a small songbird that perhaps wasn’t too happy to be eaten and decided to fight back! (Yes, maybe it had nothing to do with the hawk’s death at all, but that’s boring …)

At the speed they fly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it plowed into anther bird

That’s not a sparrow. That’s the first evidence of the songbird take over. Soon we’ll be in the iron fist of their control, feeding them seeds and bread, building houses for them, planting those plants that best suit them….Oh, my God, it’s already happened, and we did not EVEN NOTICE!
    Clever little enemies, clever.

I can’t imagine watching that actually happen… I think I would lose my mind.

Apparently no one has seen the new song bird rounds available for shotguns. It truly is the only way to hunt.

I probably got into a fight with another bird for insulting their mother.

once while hiking in the mountains in new mexico, i came across a dead rattlesnake that appeared to be partially eaten. then i noticed a few feet away a rather large dead rat. closer examination showed the rat had blood over it’s face and mouth and the snake had been chewed from the inside out.
