Remote Control Super Mario Brothers Song

(Break.com link)

I can’t imagine how much time this took to set up and rehearse. This guy plays the Super Mario Brothers theme on bottles with a remote-control car! Just tuning the bottles would take me all day, then another day to work out the timing, then I’d probably break quite a few. -via Boing Boing

Reminds me of the Mozart bottle guy. That’s probably what it’s based on.
For anyone who hasn’t seen it (it is pretty much everywhere) here’s the link:

Yeah, I’m reminded of the guy that was on the Letterman show that did stuff like this. I’m constantly amazed at what humans will think up.

heh. you could calculate how much water to put into the bottles. and if you kept the car at a constant velocity, it’s like notes on a score sheet. :)
    pretty cool

Not another Mario Bros theme song…

It is like the Letterman guy. Player pianos are much more impressive considering they were doing stuff like this 100 years ago.

Friggin’ awesome. My inner teenager, who spent many hours of her life playing Super Mario, just got really excited.

LOl re the comment “nerds”, always the first to insult are the ones who have and will never do anything noteworthy. I wonder if who ever composed this tune realized its impact on pop culture.
