There is no information on this clip, other than it’s from a Japanese TV show. Maybe someone who reads Japanese can translate the screen text. I thoroughly enjoyed it. -via Metafilter

    This is awesome. It gives a new feel to the song rather than just football and hockey.

    This kind of Japanese music are called as"Tokiwazu-bushi",
    very important part of "Kabuki".

    My Japanese isn't fully fluent, but I can read the first subtitle at 0:30 (the others are blurry and in alphabets I can't completely understand). It doesn't say anything particularly useful:

    "We Will Rock You
    English rock band Queen's 1977 hit. 'Don-don-cha' rhythm beat."
