Early versions of the card game may date back as far as 1945, with developments made between 1968 and 1977.     Interestingly, the article fails to mention the infamous “-1″ and “-2″ Freecell games, which are both impossible deals (although they are rigged as such, being hardcoded in as opposed to #11,982).
