10 Gnomes

10gnomes

In this game, you are challenged to find ten gnomes hidden in a panoramic photograph. Click an area to zoom in, and click near the bottom of the picture to zoom out. But hurry! You’ve only got ten minutes. There are two games, one on the rooftops and one in the park. Link -via Militant Platypus

That was a lot harder than I thought it would be! I don’t know what is supposed to happen when i find something that I think is a gnome… either I found none, or I don’t know what to do when I find one!

When you find one, click on him, and the game will keep tally at the bottom. I know what you mean- the first time through, I wasted a lot of time figuring out how to play.

    That was fun… I got 9/10, I couldn’t find the other one.

    *spoiler below*

On the rooftop one, I clicked the very top tip of the tower and it looked like a gnome fell out. Is that the one I find hiding in the dark?

Also, there’s a click sequence that leads me to a scene with this seagull/bird in it… is there suppose to be a gnome there? I didn’t find any.

I only got 7 – I gave up because the movement of the image on the screen made me feel really sick!

    Not at all user-friendly.
I started feeling nauseous within 30 seconds.
There are way better games out there than this.

I have tried this game and never found them–I have tried many other point and click games and never got anywhere and samorost was just infuriating. I am hopeless at figuring out these things.

The interface isnt userfriendly at all.

It only lets you zoom in to a point in some areas and the front page gnome is the only gnome that I could zoom in enough to actually find.
