Update 1/24/08 by Alex - It's from the book Safe Baby Handling Tips by David and Kelly Sopp | Their website - Thanks Christopher!

That's hilarious stuff. I shared that around and my internet sources tell me that link is basically a wholesale theft of this book:

And the teething one. When you think about it, teething isn't best done on a lovely smooth soft teething ring. The kid's trying to tear a hole in its flesh to allow the teeth to come through - both ours used old spare-rib bones. Sharp at one end, rough at the other and still mildly tasty.
Perfect.
Just wish they hadn't shared them with the cat.

When the kid goes from milk to solid food, the hose isn't just a good idea, it's pretty much necessary (along with gas mask, elbow length rubber gloves, strong stomach, etc).

I'm the author and illustrator of the book this was lifted from (Safe Baby Handling Tips). Thanks to Christopher and Alex for giving credit for it. And thanks to everyone for the kudos. We have some of these on shirts at our site, wrybaby.com.
