Knitted Frog Dissection

Posted by Alex in Arts & Crafts, Science & Tech on January 15, 2008 at 5:16 pm

Etsy seller CraftyHedgehog’s knitting project is a blast from the (high school biology) past: a frog dissection, with a hand-knit frog and needle-felted innards!

And as a touched of added realism, the piece isn’t glued down – instead, it’s pinned to the board, just like how you did it way back when … but minus the icky grossness.

LinkThanks Lotta!

Awesome. Sold out though. :( Bet it went quick.

Etsy is pretty cool. I did all my christmas shopping there. Its kinda neat to think your money is going straight to the artist, instead of the exec at some large corporation.

I believe she is taking names for future orders if you still want a frog of your own!

So many memories. I liked dissecting an horse eye too. Unlike my friend who had to be excused :####
