Sexy Beijing: Bad Boys of Beijing

I love the ongoing “Sexy Beijing” YouTube series starting Anna Sophie “Su Fei” Loewenberg, a nice Jewish girl from the US who is living and working in Beijing. Sexy Beijing is a documentary series that explores the lighter side of love and life for both Chinese and Westerners in Beijing. Bad Boys of Beijing is the latest installment wherein Su Fei asks, “Why is it that good girls like such bad boys?” If you enjoy it, please do take the time to check out some of the previous episodes. There are about 20 altogether and as an old “Asia hand” myself, I think they are some of the coolest online documentary work in English about Asian culture being made today. Su Fei Wan Sui! Hmm. On one hand, this has little to do with Chinese culture. On the other hand, she “gets a little thrill” when a fat, toothless, ex-con takes off his shirt to display his prison tats. I guess I had hoped for more than a little, one way or the other.

She is talented and could have a good career. Sharpen the focus. Edit the piece down to 0:45 or 2:45 and lets look at it again.

Adam : True I was a little agressive (I would say as much as the glasses ) but IMO she does not have soft facial features and the glasses are not doing her a favour.

But the subject is so true : the worse the guy is the more the girls he gets. It has always amazed me. A good friend of mine was with an ex-con, who was “visiting” her wallet regularly and, she found out quite soon, her female friends too. But she was so exiteeeeed, hooo!
Women and men are not built in the same factory. True.
