Robber Armed with a … Staple Gun!

By Alex in Crime & Law on Nov 19, 2007 at 3:15 am

A Kentucky man went into an ice cream store and demanded money, or he would shoot the workers with … staples!

Gerald A. Rocchi, 32, was arrested shortly after he flashed a chrome-plated stapler at an employee of The Ice Cream Shop in Ashland on Tuesday and demanded money, police said.

Ashland Police Capt. Don Petrella said he didn’t know if Rocchi planned to shoot staples at the shop’s employees or use it as a blunt instrument if he didn’t get the cash.

Well, in his defense, it is some sort of a gun: Link – via Say No to Crack

It’s possible they are related ~ i live about 15 minutes from Ashland (in ohio), and i say this with as much love as i can ~ the family trees down there don’t branch much. Interesting fact: Ashland is also home to the Judds and Billy Ray Cyrus.

What’s he doing robbing a store if he can afford a chrome plated staple gun?

I live in oregon and trust me on this one – not everyone in ashland started out related, but they all are now.
